Plenilunio
Plenilunio is a project developed for the fashion show Diseño, Escena y Otras Materialidades (DEOM) presented during the arts and science festival El Aleph organized by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

The main topic of this event was focused on musical genres and this garment proposes the replacement of synthetic and natural leather used in the alternative genres music scene.

By exploring local materials and through an extensive experimental process, this project integrates musical performances with local material productions to create a black bioleather that explores new opportunities for the mexican fashion industry.

The resulting bioleather is a resistant and waterproof material with an elegant texture similar to synthetic leather. The material was applied in the design of a shoulder pad, accessories and details, which along with a recycled fabric dress, formed the look presented in this show.
